IOF LIVE Orienteering, the national Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the national broadcaster in Finland YLE, will show the Pursuit and the Relay live on both Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of September. The agreement with NRK is one of the best broadcasting agreements ever made for the sport of orienteering in Norway, comparable to the one from WOC 2010 in Trondheim.

It goes without saying that this makes both WOC Director Per Bergerud and Norwegian Orienteering Federation president Astrid Waaler Kaas very happy.
– We are most satisfied that NRK has purchased the broadcasting rights for WC 2018 and WOC 2019. They have great competency in helping build and create athlete profiles, and it will be exciting and interesting to work with them. They can promote the event and the sport very well, Per Bergerud says.
-I’m very pleased that Norwegian Orienteering will be given the opportunity to showcase the sport and our best athletes among the Norwegian population, we really look forward to the collaboration with NRK, Astrid Waaler Kaas adds.

GPS and live results from all races will be published on LIVE Orienteering.
