Ethics Panel decisions published from China events

Following the CISM Military World Games in Wuhan, China in October 2019, the IOF Ethics Panel received a referral from the IOF Council to investigate if there were any breaches to the IOF Code of Ethics and in such case if sanctions should be applied. Likewise, the IOF President referred a case regarding the World Cup Sprint competition in Foshan, China to the Ethics Panel for consideration also at the end of October 2019.

The Ethics Panel has now completed its work with these 2 cases and the findings of the Panel have been published. The respective documents can be found on the Ethics Panel page on the website.

Pending any appeal to these decisions, which shall be made to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within 21 days of the publication of the decision, they come into force as of March 24, 2020.
