The ISF World Schools Championships in Orienteering is going on in Otepää, Estonia. More than 800 young orienteers from 23 countries are taking part in the event. The School Championships are about competing but they also have a big focus on friendship and meeting young athletes from all around the world.
The Long Distance was held on May the 1st with many different nations on the podium. The results can be found here.

On the last competition day (4th of May), the popular Friendship Team Event will be held. It is an amazing race where mixed teams participate in a type of rogaining competition. Each team consists of three students, boys and girls mixed from different nations. They have to share 49 controls and also take three common controls together. They will have one hour before the start to plan their race.
