ETOC: Finland at top in Slovakia

Finland dominated ETOC with gold medals in PreO (Antti Rusanen, Open class), Relay (Open class) and TempO (Pinja Mäkinen). The most successful competitor was Antti Rusanen with two gold medals and one silver.

PreO:
Antti Rusanen, Finland and Pavel Shmatov, Russia were the gold medallists in PreO in the European TrailO Championships after a very tight day of competition in hot, sunny weather in Slovakia.

Relay:
An exciting European TrailO Championships Relay in the open grounds of Castle Devín in Slovakia ended with wins for the Finnish and Czech teams in the Open and Paralympic classes respectively.

TempO:
Finland’s Pinja Mäkinen won the gold medal in convincing fashion, finishing with a score 48.5 seconds better than silver medallist Antti Rusanen. The gap to third-placed Petteri Hakala was smaller, just 10.5 seconds.
